Okay, so what's this about the groovy, jet-setting photo of me?

Well, yesterday I linked to the last page of Lileks' Interior Desecrator site, where his photograph is prominently displayed. A photograph that far too many of us of the same generation have tucked away in drawers or lurking in shoeboxes. The Bobby Sherman puffy hair with swoopy bangs, the aviator glasses, the wide-collared leisure suit coat made of something ripped off of a Kevlar sofa, the stylish slick Quiana floral shirt, suede belt, large clunky high-heeled two-tone wingtip shoes, and a healthy dollop of attitude.

My only comment when I linked to it was "Oh. My." I said this only out of awe that anyone would be so brave as to post a photo of himself from that era--I have pictures that look the same, if not worse, in that the only way a leisure suit and Quiana shirt can look any worse is when worn by a chubby teenager with attitude.
