As I mentioned earlier…
I had some actual work to do today, a portion of which involved having to run over to a meeting being held at one of our smaller local branch libraries.
Meeting, talking, blah blah, eat a bite, then on to the restroom.
A small one-holer, mens’r’womens sort of affair. On the wall to the left of the sink was a laminated piece of paper bearing the legend:
ARE TO BE USED FOR THEIR
There was also a line below that said this was library policy dating back all the way to 1994, and sure enough, it is.
But, still. I can think of a lot of obvious uses.
Maybe another time.
