Tennessee man wins Fiddle title

Not long after midnight Saturday, two Tennessee men stood on an Athens porch making final preparations for the ultimate battle of the bows -- the annual "fiddle off."

In the last minutes of what had been a perfect fall day, Chuck Reeves of Oakman, Tenn., prepared to face Brandon Apple of Cordova, Tenn., for the type of duel people come from miles around to witness -- one that pits two expert fiddlers in a bid for the championship of the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention.
